BAPES is working to achieve its objectives by the following activities:

· Development and implementation of scientific and research projects;

· Epidemiological design and organization of clinical trials, surveys, pilot studies etc.

· Statistical data analyses and interpretation;

· Organization of courses, consultations, scientific workshops and symposia;

· Rare diseases and orphan drugs

· Epidemiology and biostatistics

· Public health and health management

· Raising funds, property and other supporting resources for education and science;

· Stimulation of establishing relations and collaboration among different academic, educational, scientific and industrial institutions in order to increase the access to knowledge and innovations.

· Support from national and international scientific medical societies;

· Joint educational and scientific events involving government and industry .
